Technology
The fireplace inserts from Metalfire and Planika combine the beauty of a real flame with state-of-the-art safety technology. The fuel is stored in a hermetically sealed tank and extracted only in the precise amount required. In the vaporizer, the bioethanol is gently heated until it turns into vapor—only then is the flame ignited. This ensures that the fire never comes into direct contact with the liquid fuel. The entire process is monitored by a microprocessor connected to numerous sensors. Temperature, tilt, and any potential irregularities are constantly checked. If the system detects a deviation, it immediately shuts down the fireplace automatically—while at the same time alerting the user with acoustic signals and the mobile app. For you, this means maximum safety with minimum effort. You can conveniently control the fire via remote control or smartphone, while the technology works reliably in the background.
